1. Inter-turn insulation. The winding of oil-type transformer is generally wrapped with cable paper. Because the paper is used as the turn insulation of the transformer winding, because the dielectric constant of the paper is not much different from that of the oil, it can make the distribution of the electric field more uniform, but we should also note that the insulation thickness of the turn cannot be selected according to the data of the complete breakdown of the oil gap, and we need to reserve enough degree.

2. Insulation between layers and sections. Interlayer insulation is mainly applicable to cylindrical winding. When the working voltage between the two layers is high, the interlayer insulation must be thicker, which not only increases the radial size of the transformer winding, but also is not conducive to heat dissipation, so as to increase the temperature of the transformer winding.

3. Longitudinal insulation structure of oil-type transformer: 35kV and below transformers; The total insulation of transformers above 110 kV.

It is understood that with the continuous development of transformer insulation technology at home and abroad, the inter-segment oil passage of transformer winding has been extended to below 6mm, which is due to the reduction of transformer winding height and the corresponding improvement of transformer technical and economic indicators.
